Acaia Orion Bean Doser - Precise Coffee Bean Dosing
The Acaia Orion Bean Doser is a professional dose-by-weight coffee bean dosing system designed for accurate, fast, and consistent portioning. Winner of the SCA 2017 Best New Product Award, the Orion combines a built-in weighing system with intelligent dosing technology to help coffee shops, roasters, and professional coffee businesses improve their daily workflow. It can dose up to 225 g in around 12 seconds or 20 g in around 3 seconds, with precision within approximately 2-3 beans.
Its compact design, simple controls, and automatic dosing modes make the Orion Bean Doser easy to use in busy coffee environments. The patented auger system is designed to move coffee beans smoothly while helping prevent damage to the beans.

Fast and Precise Bean Dosing
The Orion uses weight-based dosing to control the speed and amount of coffee beans being dispensed. Its precision system can measure down to 0.1 g and provides repeatability of 0.1 g. The intelligent dosing system also learns from previous target weights and actual results to automatically adjust the dosing process and reduce the margin of error.
Automatic and Manual Modes
The Orion Bean Doser offers multiple operating modes for different dosing needs. In Auto Mode, the system automatically starts dosing when a container is placed on the platform, allowing you to continuously dose multiple containers without pressing buttons. Manual Mode gives you direct control when you need to pause dosing or add the final few beans. Weighing Scale Mode allows the unit to function as an industrial-style weighing scale.
Simple Controls and Compact Design
An intuitive dial interface makes it easy to set and control your target dose. Three preset modes allow you to save different target weights for quick access during daily use. The Orion has a compact footprint and clean aluminum design, making it easy to place alongside coffee grinders, roasting equipment, and other professional coffee equipment.

The patented auger technology is designed to move coffee beans smoothly and consistently during dosing. This helps provide controlled bean flow while reducing the risk of unnecessary bean damage.
