Bialetti Moka Express Red 3 Cup Stovetop Coffee Maker

Enjoy traditional Italian moka coffee at home with the Bialetti Moka Express Red 3 Cup. Made in Italy, this aluminum stovetop coffee maker combines a red and silver finish with a practical size for everyday brewing. It prepares approximately 130-150 ml of coffee, enough for three small espresso-sized servings rather than three full mugs.

Key Features

  • Three espresso-sized coffee servings
  • Classic aluminum moka pot
  • Red and silver finish
  • Easy-clean safety valve
  • Made in Italy

Traditional Moka Coffee on Your Stovetop

The Moka Express brews by passing heated water through ground coffee into the upper chamber. It makes rich, full-flavored stovetop coffee that you can enjoy black or with milk. This is moka coffee, a different brewing style from machine-made espresso, with a simple preparation routine that fits naturally into your morning.

A Practical 3 Cup Serving Size

The 3 cup capacity refers to small coffee servings, not standard mugs. With an approximate brewed output of 130-150 ml, this Bialetti moka pot is suited to a small coffee to share or a larger serving for one person. The final amount can vary with preparation, so the listed output is a guide rather than a fixed yield.

Aluminum Body with a Red and Silver Finish

The aluminum body gives this Moka Express its traditional construction, while the red and silver finish adds color to your coffee setup. The handle and lid knob are made from thermoplastic. Compatible with gas, electric, and ceramic hobs, it offers a stovetop option without the need for a separate electric coffee machine.

Easy-Clean Valve and Hand-Wash Care

An easy-clean safety valve is included in the design. The pot is not dishwasher safe and should be cleaned by hand. Let it cool before taking it apart for cleaning, then care for the individual components so the coffee maker is ready for your next brew.

Does it make espresso or moka coffee?

It makes rich, full-flavored moka coffee on the stovetop, not machine-made espresso. Heated water passes through the ground coffee into the upper chamber. You can enjoy it black or add milk.

Which stovetops can I use it on?

This model is listed for gas, electric, and ceramic hobs. If you have an induction hob, please contact us to confirm a suitable setup before ordering; induction compatibility is not listed for this pot.

Can I put this moka pot in the dishwasher?

No. The Moka Express Red is not dishwasher safe and should be washed by hand. Let it cool before taking it apart for cleaning.

What are the pot, handle, and lid knob made from?

The body is aluminum with a red and silver finish. The handle and lid knob are thermoplastic. The pot also includes an easy-clean safety valve.

Is the 3 cup size suitable for one person or for sharing?

Brewing & Care Guide

How to Use and Care for Your Moka Pot

1. Fill with Water

Fill the bottom chamber with room-temperature water up to the lower edge of the safety valve. Do not cover the valve.

2. Add Ground Coffee

Fill the filter funnel with medium-fine ground coffee suitable for moka pots. Level the coffee without pressing or tamping it down.

3. Assemble the Moka Pot

Insert the filled funnel into the bottom chamber and securely screw on the upper chamber. Make sure all parts are correctly fitted before heating.

4. Brew Over Low to Medium Heat

Place the moka pot on a suitable stovetop over low to medium heat. Once the coffee finishes flowing and you hear a gurgling sound, remove the pot from the heat promptly to avoid overheating the coffee.

5. Serve Your Coffee

Allow the brewing process to finish safely, then carefully pour the freshly brewed coffee into your cups.

6. Clean After Use

Let the moka pot cool completely before disassembling it. Wash each part by hand using water only. Do not use soap or detergents, and never put the moka pot in the dishwasher. Dry all parts thoroughly before storing.
