Compatibility and Diameter Guide
This model is specifically designed for La Pavoni espresso machines produced after 2000, ensuring a secure and accurate fit. Please note that it is not compatible with older La Pavoni machines. A double shot coffee basket is included in the box, so you can start brewing immediately.
To identify your La Pavoni model by diameter:
Models made before 2000
- Group: 52 mm
- Tamper: 49 mm
- Internal Basket: 50 mm
Models made after 2000
- Group: 54 mm
- Tamper: 51 mm
- Internal Basket: 52 mm
If your machine matches the after 2000 dimensions listed above, this bottomless portafilter is the correct choice.
How to Use
- Lightly fill the portafilter basket to the top.
- Use your finger to evenly distribute the coffee grounds.
- Press the tamper lightly to find the center point.
- Apply around 30 lbs (13 kg) of even pressure.
- Tap the side of the portafilter to loosen any grounds.
- Tamp the loose grounds lightly back into place.
- Brew and enjoy the beautiful espresso extraction.
