Advanced Heat-Exchanger System

The Mechanika MAX II features an advanced one-way heat-exchanger system designed to reduce thermal fluctuations and improve temperature stability during brewing. The optimized boiler layout works together with the cartridge-heated E61 group head to provide a consistent brewing environment, even when the machine is producing steam.

This design gives the machine the workflow advantages of a heat-exchanger system while providing a high level of temperature control. Brew temperature can be adjusted between 90°C and 95°C, allowing you to fine-tune extraction for different coffee beans and roasting styles.

Precise BTC Temperature Control

ECM's integrated BTC (Brew Temperature Control) system uses PID control to manage brewing temperature directly at the brew group. This helps maintain a stable temperature from shot to shot and reduces the need for traditional cooling flushes or temperature surfing.

The machine also includes adjustable active and passive pre-infusion, giving you greater control over how water reaches the coffee puck. The OLED display provides access to temperature settings, steam levels, shot timing, and other useful machine functions.

A quiet rotary pump supports both the integrated 3-liter water tank and direct mains water connection. The included metal hose makes it possible to connect the machine to a water line, offering flexibility for different kitchen setups.
