How to Use and Care for Your Moka Pot
1. Fill with Water
Fill the bottom chamber with room-temperature water up to the lower edge of the safety valve. Do not cover the valve.
2. Add Ground Coffee
Fill the filter funnel with medium-fine ground coffee suitable for moka pots. Level the coffee without pressing or tamping it down.
3. Assemble the Moka Pot
Insert the filled funnel into the bottom chamber and securely screw on the upper chamber. Make sure all parts are correctly fitted before heating.
4. Brew Over Low to Medium Heat
Place the moka pot on a suitable stovetop over low to medium heat. Once the coffee finishes flowing and you hear a gurgling sound, remove the pot from the heat promptly to avoid overheating the coffee.
5. Serve Your Coffee
Allow the brewing process to finish safely, then carefully pour the freshly brewed coffee into your cups.
6. Clean After Use
Let the moka pot cool completely before disassembling it. Wash each part by hand using water only. Do not use soap or detergents, and never put the moka pot in the dishwasher. Dry all parts thoroughly before storing.
